Project

The main goal of the project is to increase the availability of cultural resources and use the endogenous potential of the area by revitalizing the church building. St. Francis of Assisi and St. Peter of Alcantara in Namysłów.

Through the revitalization of the church that is a monument, the project will contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage, stopping the degradation of a valuable object in the technical layer and popularizing this heritage through modern ICT tools, multimedia systems, solutions for people with disabilities or improving the visual attractiveness of these objects. The objectives of the project will improve the preservation of monuments and ensure the lasting preservation of cultural values. In addition, the project also provides for educational activities and the use of ICT tools, thanks to which the accessibility of cultural heritage as well as public awareness will increase. The project will also contribute to the development of the region's cultural offer.

The project includes: conservation renovation of the western façade of the church of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Peter with Alcantara, creating a website, modernization and expansion of the sound system and modernization of the multimedia system in the church, typhlographic boards, information and education board, educational activities: leaflets and workshops for children, multimedia floor, project promotion, project management, investment feasibility study.
